В Париже осень заканчивается, но о зиме пока не хочется думать. Рождественские украшения развесили, но пока не зажгли – значит, зима ещё не началась.

Autumn is in full bloom in Paris and will finish soon, but I don’t want to think of the winter. The Avenue des Champs Elysées doesn’t scintillate with Christmas lights yet, which means the winter still hasn’t begun…

Последние несколько месяцев получились очень насыщенными – много работы и путешествий, новых идей и интересных знакомств. Накопилось безумное количество фотографий, которыми хочется поделиться, и историй, которые хочется рассказать… В очередной раз съездила в любимую Италию, открыла для себя Марокко и Цюрих, покаталась на серфе и научилась готовить пасту – октябрь прошёл не зря!

А ещё меня очень радует, что удалось провести много выходных вместе с лучшим другом – с тех пор, как я поселилась Франции, каждая встреча с друзьями, живущими в России, превращается в праздник:)

Парижская осень в этом году золотая и ослепительная – хочется бродить по улицам, ахать и щёлкать фотоаппаратом. Примерно так мы и проводили время, когда Мишка приехал в Париж в середине октября – а ещё, конечно, пили кофе и разговаривали. Кстати, зашли в новое отличное кофейное место – Fragments, где можно позавтракать тостами с авокадо или козьим сыром, а музыка идеально негромкая и не мешает беседовать. Попробовали и “русские” пирожные в кафе Pouсhkine возле площади Вандом – очень вкусные французские пирожные, в состав которых иногда входят “русские” ингридиенты, например, творог. Зато перонал в кафе русский и очень приветливый:)

Last few months were very dynamic – lots of work, travels, new projects and interesting acquaintances. I accumulated tons of photos and stories to share on my blog and hope to find time to systemize and edit this amount of materials soon… In October I visited my beloved Italy one more time, discovered Morocco and Zurich, surfed for the first time since five years ago and learned making fresh pasta at home. To sum up, last month wasn’t waste!

I’m happy that I could spend some wonderful weekends together with my friend Mikhail, who came to Germany for three months in order to conduct a postdoc research. Since I left Russia, every meeting with my Russian friends feels like a gift!

The autumn in Paris is absolutely brilliant this year. The colors are crazy, and the only thing I want to do is strolling through the Parisian streets, looking around and shooting pictures. It was how we spent a weekend in the middle of October when Mikhail came to visit me in Paris. Naturally, we had uncountable cups of coffee in different places and discovered a new nice coffee spot called Fragments, where we had a healthy breakfast with avo and goat cheese toasts and a perfect carrot cake. We also tasted the “Russian” pastries at the café Pouchkine – I confirm that they are really delicious but can be hardly called Russian, since only a few ingridients in them are originary from Russia (like tvorog – a kind of Russian ricotta), but the recipes is rather French. Anyway the Pouchkine pastry shop near the Place Vendôme is cosy and the staff is Russian and very friendly.
