В начале сентября мы с подругами собрались посетить несколько замков Луары, отправившись на этот раз в направлении Орлеана, и для полной гармонии остановились на ночь в маленьком частном замке Lalande. Это очаровательное место! Оно находится в деревне под названием Crozon-sur-Vauvre, в 270 км на юг от Парижа.

Lalande был приобретён нынешними хозяевами десять лет назад, и с тех пор они практически своими руками, при помощи волонтёров, восстанавливают сам замок и территорию вокруг него. По вниманию к мелочам и деталям разу видно, что это проект “для души”. Кое-что пока не закончено, но это не мешает восхищаться красотой места и увлечённостью его хозяев.

In the beginning of September my friends and I decided to visit the Loire valley one more time and spent our weekend in a small private castle called Lalande (Château de Lalande). Absolutely charming place!

This castle is situated near the village called Crozon-sur-Vaurve, about 270 km from Paris in South direction. It was acquired by its actual owners ten years ago and since then they have been working on the renovation of the castle and arrangement of its terrtory. The voluteers from all over the world help them in this mission. You can feel attention paid to every detail and understand that this is not only commercial project but also a real passion of the owners…

With my friend and photographer Solli we made a fairy-tale photo shooting in the Lalande castle. Old stones and forest create the unique and mysterious ambience. I love the rustic texture of the stone combined with the shiny silk of my dress…

Нам повезло быть единствеными посетителя в те выходные, и фактически весь замок оказался в нашем распоряжении! Два этажа, со вкусом обставленные антикварной мебелью, и огромный парк вокруг. Есть в замке и собственный огород, овощи и фрукты из которого можно попробовать за ужином или за завтраком.

We were lucky to be the only guests in the castle in that weekend. Two floors furnished with antique furniture and decorated with nice old knick-knackery were in our full disposition!

There are also a fruit and vegetable gardens in the castle, the fruits and the vegetables from which you can taste for breakfast or dinner.

О завтраке нужно сказать отдельно. Во-первых, свежеиспечённый хлеб, который так вкусно есть с домашним конфитюром. Во-вторых, домашний же розовый сироп – для приготовления воды с сиропом. В-третьих, интерьер столовой, в которой сервируется завтрак… В общем, мы встали из-за стола значительно позднее, чем рассчитывали:)

I’d like to tell a few words about the breakfast in the Lalande castle. First, bread is fresh-baked and the jams and the aromatic rose sirup are home-made. We had a look in the stockroom of the castle and saw the rows of the small colorful jam jars with the nice etiquettes. Secondly, the fruits are from the garden, really fresh and natural. Thirdly, the breakfast is served in the beautiful and solemn dining room, so you feel yourself like a king in his palace!

Because of all these reasons, we finished our breakfast one hour later than planned:)

Хозяйка замка Стефани, профессиональная певица французско-английского происхождения, очень приветливая и улыбчивая особа. Она руководит группой волонтёров со всего мира, которые постепенно заканчивают реставрацию последних оставшихся неотремонтированными комнат и приводят в порядок сад, который, надо признать, пока выглядит очень по-английски, то так, как будто рука садовника его не касалась:)

The owner of the castle, Stéphanie, is a professional singer and have taste for art and beautiful things. She’s a friendly and smiley person, making you feel in the castle like at home. You can feel that this project is really close to her heart…

The garden around the castle looks more like a wild forest and there’s still much work to do. Anyway I found it charming and creating special atmosphere.

Это место из тех, в которые хочется возвращаться. Секретное место – и мне даже немного жаль давать в блоге его координаты, но я делаю над собой усилие;) Солли нашла замок Lalande на сайте Airbnb.com (ссылка ниже).

Очень надеюсь приехать туда зимой, когда выпадет снег и будет так уютно посидеть у камина с чашкой горячего шоколада…
