Париж – единственный город из известных мне, которому дождь к лицу. Он от этого оживает и начинает кокетливо играть всеми оттенками серого. Собственно, для меня осень в Париже – лучшее время года, и даже необходимость всегда и всюду носить с собой зонтик не расстраивает.
Сейчас, в конце августа, запах осени уже чувствуется в воздухе, похолодало и пришло время доставать из шкафа осенние вещи. Например, что-нибудь яркое, вязаное и уютное, но в то же время с кружевами и романтичное…
И конечно, осенью потребление кофе и горячего шоколада вырастает вдвое!
Моё любимое кафе, в котором я часто останавливаюсь по пути на работу, находится на площади Виктора Гюго. Официантами в нём работают одни мужчины, и это не политика заведения, а просто очень типично для Франции. Один из них немного говорит по-русски и пользуется моим присутствием, чтобы продемонстрировать свои познания. Я всегда беру кофе крем (французская версия каппучино), но особенно сонным утром могу заказать кофе нуазетт (что переводится как “орешек”, но к орехам никакого отношения не имеет, а представляет собой эспрессо с капелькой молока). И это единственное место, где я читаю газеты в бумажном, а не в электронном варианте!

Paris is the only city which looks better under the rain. It comes alive, shines and demonstrates all shadows of grey… That’s why I love automn in Paris, even if you need to bring an umbrella with you everywhere and all the time.
At the end of August the smell of the autunm is already in the air. The weather becomes fresh and it’s time to take autumn clothes out of the wardrobe. For example, something knit, bright and warm but at the same time romantic and decorated with lace…
Quiet naturally, coffee and hot chocolate consumption doubles in autumn!
My fav coffee shop where I often have my morning coffee before going to the office is situated on the square Victor Hugo. One of the waitors speaks Russian a little bit and we exchange a few phrases with him. I usually take café crème, a French version of cappuccino, but in the most sleepy mornings I order café noisette (which is translated like “nuts coffee” but has nothing to do with the nuts, since it’s just an espresso with a drop of milk). And it’s a pleasure to read a real newspaper sometimes, not its electronic version!:)

Tu verras que la pluie au bout d’un moment à Paris lassant et il n’y a rien de plus triste que le gris.

Denis, c’est très probable, mais j’habite a Paris depuis trois ans seulement, je suis encore en plein admiration… Il est donc important de déménager au Sud avant que les pluies parisiennes me fatiguent;))

Gorgeous photos and you look fabulous as always 🙂 Love the contrast of the color of your dress and the red door 😉 And by the way, I think I know why they call it Café noisette, indeed it has nothing to do with the hazelnut/noisette itself but the fact that you add milk in the size of a noisette 😉 Usually in recipes they write “ajoutez une noisette du sucre” etc..it would make sense I think.

Hmmm, it can be true this idea about noisette… At least I don’t have a better explanation😉 Usually café noisette is my evening compromise between my fav café crème and espresso… And in the most early mornings😉
